A Wooded Way Forward…

Sometimes you’ve known for a while that the life and relationships you inhabit aren’t quite aligned with the person you are or want to be. You might be searching hard for answers that feel out of reach, cycling between fuzzy effort and sharp exhaustion. You’re doing the best you can, and you still feel lost.

Other times this realization seems to come out of nowhere and sets off panic that doesn’t ease long enough for you to truly rest. How did you get here? What in the world are you supposed to do next?

Wherever you are and whatever you’re feeling, you are not alone. Being a person in this world is a strange, tender, and often painful mess of experiences, and many of us find ourselves asking where we’re going next and how to get there. While we all travel our own paths, they each contain forks, washouts, and inclement weather. Sometimes the way we knew is no longer the way through. In those moments, it helps to have someone alongside us as we walk a new path.
